Bose Krishnamachari
Bose Krishnamachari was born in Kerala in 1962. He received a Diploma in Art from Kerala Kala Peetom, Cochin, a BFA from the JJ School of Art, Mumbai and an MFA from Goldsmiths College, University of London. Krishnamachari has worked in a variety of media including painting, photography and sculptural assemblage, while also conceptualising and curating shows. The form of the book and the role of museumisation in art is a strong component in his work. His acclaimed debut show AmUseuM at Jehangir Art Gallery included spiral-bound books, painted and covered with poems and framed in glass, while his most recent, LaVa recreated a library of art, books and films in locations around the country. A recipient of the Kerala Lalitha Kala Akademi award, the Gold Medal from the JJ School of Art and a fellowship from the Mid America Arts Alliance, he was also the first runner-up for the Bose Pacia Prize for Modern Art in 2001. He lives and works in Mumbai.

Harsh Goenka is the Chairman of RPG Enterprises, one of the leading business groups in India with interests in power, tyres, retail, information technology, life sciences and entertainment. Goenka has an art collection that embraces several genres and styles and transcends several generations of artists from all regions. He has organised several art exhibitions in Mumbai, and supports and encourages young artists. He is a member on the Board of the National Gallery of Modern Art and a member of the Selection Committee of the Art shows at Prince of Wales Museum.
